LUXRENT operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated luxury designer handbag rental experience (the "Services"). LUXRENT is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms") describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, rental-specific rules, deposit policies and non-refundable service terms.

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase or manage.

To use the Services, including accessing or browsing our online stores, submitting rental enquiries or completing rental bookings, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment, delivery and residential address information. You represent and warrant that all the information you provide in our stores is correct, current and complete and that you have all rights necessary to provide this information.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all of your account activity, including all rental bookings made under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.

SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS & RENTAL SERVICES

We have made every effort to provide an accurate representation of our luxury designer handbag rental items and services in our online stores. However, please note that colours, leather texture, hardware tone or product appearance may differ from how they appear on your screen due to device type, screen resolution and personal device settings.

We do not warrant that the appearance or quality of any rented items will meet your personal aesthetic expectations or be identical to online depictions, due to the unique natural characteristics of genuine leather and exotic skin materials.

All descriptions of rental items, including material, colour, hardware and condition, are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any rental item, suspend item availability, or limit rental quantities and booking eligibility to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, on a case-by-case basis.

Service Definition: All Services provided by LUXRENT are temporary luxury item rental services, including exclusive item reservation, pre-rental professional inspection, secure luxury storage, styling consultation, logistics coordination and temporary exclusive usage rights of designated items. All booked rental periods secure sole reservation rights for the customer during the confirmed booking window.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS & RENTAL BOOKINGS

When you place a rental booking, you are making an offer to secure temporary rental access to our listed items. LUXRENT reserves the right to accept or decline your booking for any reason at its discretion, including but not limited to insufficient customer verification, high-risk booking assessment, or item availability changes. Your booking is not accepted until LUXRENT issues formal confirmation. We must receive and process full rental payment and security deposit before your booking is formally accepted and confirmed.

Please review your booking details carefully before submitting, as LUXRENT does not accept booking cancellation requests after order confirmation. In the event that we do not accept, make a change to, or cancel a booking, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail, billing address, and/or phone number provided at the time the booking was made.

All rental bookings are subject exclusively to LUXRENT’s internal Refund, Cancellation and Deposit Policy referenced within these Terms. You represent and warrant that all item rentals are for your own personal, non-commercial use, unless a formal commercial rental agreement is separately approved in writing by LUXRENT.

SECTION 4 - PRICES, BILLING & FIXED DEPOSIT POLICY

Rental prices, service fees and any promotional rates are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a rental service will be the rate in effect at the time the booking is placed and will be set out in your booking confirmation email. Unless otherwise expressly stated, posted rental prices do not include courier fees, insurance fees, taxes or custom charges.

Prices posted in our online stores may differ from in-person pop-up or offline rates. We may offer promotional terms from time to time; if a conflict exists between promotion terms and these Terms, the promotion terms will govern.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, payment and account information for all bookings made at our stores. You agree to promptly update your account and other information to ensure we can complete your transaction and contact you as needed.

You represent and warrant that (i) your payment information is true, correct, and complete, (ii) you are duly authorized to use the selected payment method, (iii) all charges incurred will be honored by your payment provider, and (iv) you will pay all confirmed rental charges, including service fees, courier insurance fees and applicable taxes.

Fixed Security Deposit Tiers (Mandatory for all bookings):

Chanel Bags: £500 GBP
Standard Leather Hermès Bags: £1000 GBP
Exotic Leather & Special Edition Bags: £5000 GBP

Security deposits are held solely as security against damage, loss, missing accessories, late returns or policy breaches. Deposits are not classed as service fees and will be refunded 3–7 working days post item return and successful professional inspection, minus any applicable repair, cleaning or compensation fees.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING, DELIVERY & UK POSTAL RENTAL RULES

Standard central London door-to-door delivery and collection is available for local bookings. For non-London customers, we offer postal rental services only for UK mainland addresses; international shipping is permanently unavailable.

All delivery and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for shipping delays caused by courier companies, weather disruptions, customs processing or any events outside our direct control.

Postal Rental Specific Terms: All postal rental periods fully include outbound transit time, customer usage time and return transit time. No refunds, partial refunds or price adjustments will be issued for courier delays, transit downtime or shortened personal usage duration. The minimum booking period for all postal rentals is 5 consecutive days.

Customers accept full liability for loss, theft, damage or scale lifting occurring during return transit. LuxRent reserves the right to refuse postal rental for high-value exotic leather items at our sole discretion. Once items are transferred to the courier, all risk of loss passes to the customer.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our Services, including but not limited to all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, product shots, rental content, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by LUXRENT, its affiliates or licensors and are protected by U.S. and foreign patent, copyright and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on the Services without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use of the Services may violate federal and state intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by LUXRENT.

LUXRENT's names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of LUXRENT or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such trademarks without the prior written permission of LUXRENT. Shopify's name, logo, product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of Shopify. All other third-party marks are property of their respective owners.

SECTION 7 - OPTIONAL TOOLS

You may be provided with access to customer tools offered by third parties as part of the Services, which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

Any use by you of the optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion. We may release new features and tools in the future, which shall be deemed part of the Services and subject to these Terms.

SECTION 8 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may contain materials and hyperlinks to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating third-party content, accuracy or practices. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to your access or use of third-party websites, products or services. All third-party disputes must be directed solely to the relevant third-party provider.

SECTION 9 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

LUXRENT is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, all rental bookings, transactions and service agreements are made directly between you and LUXRENT. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your rental transactions, including item condition, service quality, loss or damage claims. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all liabilities arising from your use of our Services.

SECTION 10 - PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information we collect through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on luxrentldn.com. Certain personal data may also be processed by Shopify in accordance with Shopify’s Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all applicable privacy terms.

SECTION 11 - FEEDBACK & CREATOR CONTENT

If you submit, upload, post, email, or otherwise transmit any feedback, reviews, styling content, photographic or video content (collectively, "Feedback") in connection with our rental services, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display such Feedback for operational, promotional and commercial purposes.

You represent and warrant that you own all rights to your Feedback and that your content complies with all applicable laws and these Terms. We are under no obligation to keep Feedback confidential, provide compensation for content usage, or respond to submissions. We reserve the right to monitor, edit or remove any objectionable content at our sole discretion.

SECTION 12 - ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally there may be typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to item descriptions, pricing, promotions or availability. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information or cancel affected bookings at any time without prior notice.

SECTION 13 - PROHIBITED USES

You may access and use the Services for lawful personal rental purposes only. You may not: (a) use rented items for unlawful, commercial or resale purposes; (b) damage, modify, customise, sublet, lend or transfer rented items; (c) infringe intellectual property rights; (d) harass or harm LUXRENT staff or partners; (e) transmit false or misleading booking information; (f) upload malicious code to our platform; (g) scrape or automate platform access; (h) impersonate any person or entity; (i) engage in conduct that harms our business or exposes us to liability.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse future bookings at any time for policy violations.

SECTION 14 - AGENTS

14.1 This section applies if you deploy any autonomous or semi-autonomous software Agent to access our Services.

14.4 All Agents must fully identify themselves in all platform requests, must not mimic human behaviour to bypass security measures, and must not circumvent platform access restrictions. Unauthorised Agent usage is strictly prohibited.

SECTION 15 - TERMINATION

We may terminate your access to the Services at our sole discretion at any time without notice. You remain liable for all outstanding fees and obligations incurred prior to termination. All clauses relating to intellectual property, liability, indemnification, governing law and refunds survive termination.

SECTION 16 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

All Services and rental items are provided 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' without express or implied warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely or error-free service access. All item usage is undertaken at the customer’s sole risk.

SECTION 17 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LUXRENT, its staff, partners and Shopify shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of our rental Services, including lost revenue or personal disappointment related to item styling or appearance.

SECTION 18 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LUXRENT, Shopify and all affiliated parties from any losses, damages, liabilities or legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of rented items, or any third-party claims caused by your conduct.

SECTION 19 - SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 20 - WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT

No failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of that provision. These Terms and all referenced policies constitute the entire agreement between you and LUXRENT, superseding all prior oral or written communications.

SECTION 21 - ASSIGNMENT

You may not transfer or assign your booking rights or obligations without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms at our discretion.

SECTION 22 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. All disputes are subject to exclusive UK jurisdiction.

Section headings are for convenience only and do not limit or alter the meaning of these Terms.

SECTION 24 - CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time by posting revised content on our website. Your continued use of our Services following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

SUPPLEMENTARY RENTAL POLICIES (BINDING)

No Refund & Cancellation Policy

All rental fees, reservation fees, courier fees and insurance charges are final and fully non-refundable once payment is processed. No refunds will be issued for changed plans, event cancellation, early item return, personal dissatisfaction, courier delays or unused rental days. Confirmed bookings cannot be cancelled for refund purposes. Rescheduling may be permitted only with a minimum 3 full days’ prior written notice and is subject to sole LUXRENT approval.

Consumer Right Exclusion

Luxury rental services are bespoke, time-sensitive reserved services. No statutory cooling-off period or consumer cancellation rights apply once an item is reserved, dispatched or delivered.
